Strideaway for Android, published by Tallekene OÜ (Estonia). Last updated 26 October 2026.
These terms apply when you use Strideaway. They are short on purpose: please read the safety part, because it explains what the app can and cannot do for you.
Strideaway is made and sold by Tallekene OÜ, Tornimäe tn 5, 10145 Tallinn, Estonia (“we”). You can reach us at info@tallekene.com.
Loops are calculated automatically from OpenStreetMap, a map made by volunteers. It can be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong. A suggested loop may therefore lead over ways that are closed, under construction, private, dangerous, poorly lit, along busy roads, or not meant for people on foot.
Voice prompts, the next-turn banner and off-route warnings are guidance only. GPS positions can be inaccurate, prompts can come late or not at all, and phone settings or battery saving can interrupt recording. Distances, pace and elevation shown by the app are estimates.
Weather comes from MET Norway's public forecast and can be wrong. The heat rating, the heat-adjusted easy pace and the clothing tips are a rule of thumb, not medical advice. If you have a health condition, ask your doctor what is safe for you, and stop running if you feel unwell.
Please do not misuse the app or our weather proxy, for example by sending automated requests to it from other software. The map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License; other credits are listed in the app under Settings › About.
We build Strideaway with care, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available, error-free or that the map, weather or guidance data is correct. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that results from following a suggested route, a voice prompt or the weather and heat advice, or from data that third parties provide.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, under mandatory product liability law, or in any other case where the law does not allow it. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if the app or Pro does not work as described, are not affected.
These terms are governed by the law of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. If something goes wrong, please write to us first; consumers can also turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority).
If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Changes do not apply to a purchase you made before them where that would be to your disadvantage.
